<p>[Problem] To provide a curtain airbag capable of improving ejection-from-vehicle prevention performance, while maintaining storability in a front pillar. [Solution] A curtain airbag (100) for deploying across a side-surface section, and housed in an upper side-surface section inside a vehicle, the curtain airbag (100) being provided with: an end-section chamber (146) for receiving an inflating gas and expanding, and positioned in the front-end section of the curtain airbag; and a strap (130) that has a front-end part attached to a first attachment point (P) of the front pillar (114) of the vehicle, passes along the vehicle-exterior side of the end-section chamber, and has a rear-end part attached to a seam section (144) for sectioning off the end-section chamber. The curtain airbag (100) is characterized in that the first attachment point is set so as to include a second plane (L2) passing below and in parallel with a first plane (L1) extending through an impact point (A1) at the center of an estimated impact region (E) overlapping the end-section chamber.</p> |
