PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking device for a slide board which can surely stop the slide board when a person moving the slide board separates his/her hand from the slide board.SOLUTION: A braking device for a slide board includes: a brake operation lever 10 provided on a frame body 4 on which the slide board is mounted; a wire line 20 one end of which is connected to the brake operation lever, and the other end of which is connected to a brake shoe 11 provided on the slide board; and an energizing member which is provided between the brake shoe and the brake operation lever, and pushes and energizes the brake shoe in a direction to bring the brake shoe in contact with a rail member 3 while the brake operation lever is not operated, and also energizes the brake operation lever so as to be separated from the operation position and positioned. When the brake operation lever is operated, the brake shoe is separated from the rail member to release the braking state, consequently, the slide board can freely move. |
