PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a connector which inhibits the damage of an insertion port when a plate cable is obliquely inserted.SOLUTION: A connector includes: a housing 3 where a conductive contact 5 is housed; an insertion port 4 provided at the forward side of the housing 3 and defined by a lower wall 32, an upper wall 33, and a side wall 34 of the housing 3, the insertion port 4 in which a plate cable 2 may be inserted; a lever 6 provided at the rearward side of the housing 3 and causing the contact 5 to crimp with the plate cable 2 to establish the conductive connection therebetween through a rotation operation; and a protection member 100 protecting the side wall 34 of the insertion port 4. |
