The flow drier (10) has a pipe circuit (11) through which the drying gas is passed. A fan (17) is provided for producing drying gas flow. A heating device (18) is arranged for heating the drying gas. A drying track portion (27) is arranged between a material intake portion (20) and a material discharge portion (23). The material intake portion is arranged above the material discharge portion. The drying track portion is formed in an inner pipe (29) of a double tube. An independent claim is included for a flow drying method for drying tobacco material. |
