PURPOSE: A transmission/reception method of a signal and an apparatus thereof for handover in a broadcasting network for minimizing an effect on broadcasting service quality are provided to supply a seamless mobile broadcasting service by automatically performing handoff of a broadcasting frequency channel. CONSTITUTION: A baseband broadcasting signal generator(310) generates a baseband signal from transmitted broadcast data. A transmitter identifying signal column generator(320) generates the identification signal of the transmitter. A first transmission unit combines the broadcast signal transformed to the baseband signal and identification signal. A second transmission unit modulates the identification signal. |
