Provided is a permanent-magnet type synchronous motor that can have cogging torque, which is caused by unevenness of the magnets, made to become a value infinitely close to zero, in a slot-less motor with stator protrusions installed. The permanent-magnet type synchronous motor, which is provided with the stator protrusions (1a); a winding (10) that is formed to be circular-shaped, and mounted onto the stator protrusions; and a permanent-magnet; is also provided with protrusions (1b) for reducing the cogging torque, at coil-end sections of the winding between the stator protrusions. It will be possible to offset the cogging torque, by creating a component that will have a phase opposite the phase of the cogging torque, which is caused by the effect of unevenness of the magnets, and by the stator protrusions, by providing the same number of protrusions (1b) as the stator protrusions (1a), at the coil-end sections. |
