PURPOSE: An acrylic adhesive composition of aqueous dispersion type is provided to have a good initial adherence and retention, and an excellent water resistance and weather resistance without using nonyl or phenyl emulsifier. CONSTITUTION: An acrylic adhesive composition of aqueous dispersion type is formed by emulsion polymerization of polymerizable materials consisting of 80-95 parts by weight of unsaturated carboxylic ester with a glass transition temperature of -130 to -25deg.C; 5-20 parts by weight of unsaturated carboxylic ester with a glass transition temperature of -25 to 130deg.C; 0.1-5 parts by weight of polyoxyalkylene alkenyl ether represented by Equation 1; and 0.05-2 parts by weight of initiator. The acrylic adhesive composition of aqueous dispersion type further includes 0.1-7 parts by weight of beta-carboxyethyl acrylate represented by Equation 2. |
