PURPOSE: A device for automatically charging an electric vehicle during driving and a method thereof are provided to reduce charging time by continuously charging the electric vehicle during driving by installing a charging terminal on a tire of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: An electric vehicle (100) includes a tire including an electric charging terminal. The electric vehicle stores charging power delivered through the terminal in a battery. A charging plate (200) supplies a current and a voltage required for battery charging. An electronic control device receives the charging power through the terminal to charge the battery. A charging fee calculator (300) calculates a charging fee corresponding to the battery charging by being interlinked with the electronic control device.
