The method involves incorporating a piece in a body (12) of an article i.e. card (10), where the piece is made from a metal material having thermal expansion coefficient less than that of the plastic material of the body. The article is heated to a predefined temperature to induce expansion of the materials, and the article is cooled to induce shrinkage of the materials for generating mechanical stress to cause the article to deform. The piece is shaped so that the deformation of the article corresponds to a predefined pattern (20). |
