The profile (1) a horizontal support surface (5) forming an angle of 90 degrees and enclosing an upright support surface (4). An elongated support part (2) facing away from an inner side (11) of the support surfaces is attached with a decorative strip (3) such that the support part is remote from a decorative face (9) of the decorative strip. The support part and the decorative strip are made of a wood material, where the support part is preferably made of high density fiberboard (HDF) or medium density fiberboard (MDF). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing the finishing profile.
