The arrangement has an electrical energy storage comprising prismatic cells (2) e.g. coffee bag cells, arranged parallel to each other. A cooling device comprising cooling bags (1) through which coolant flows for direct cooling of the cells. Each cooling bag is attached to the cells. The cooling bags are connected with a common coolant supply of the cooling device. A coolant inlet channel (4) and a coolant discharge passage (5) are integrated in a coolant supply plate (3). A coolant guide rail is provided in the coolant inlet channel and the coolant discharge passage.
