PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the stability of the carry of a hit ball.SOLUTION: An iron type golf club set includes three or more iron type golf clubs 1 each having a different loft angle. Assuming a ratio Ms/M between inertial moment Ms (gcm) around a horizontal axis passing a gravity center G of a club head 3 of each iron type golf club head 1 and extending in a toe-heel direction and mass M (g) of the head as an inertia coefficient A, a difference An-A1 between an inertia coefficient A1 of the lowest numbered club head having the minimum loft angle and an inertia coefficient An of the highest numbered club head having the maximum loft angle is 0.3 or above. The inertia coefficient A of each club head 3 is gradually increased according as the loft angle becomes larger. |
