摘要 PURPOSE: An LED driving circuit for and a driving method thereof are provided to minimize the variation of output voltage by detecting the brightness variation of an LED assembly in advance, and controlling the amount of current supplied to an output terminal corresponding to the detected brightness variation. CONSTITUTION: An LED assembly(160) comprises multiple LEDs. A high voltage generating part(110) boosts input voltage(Vin) inputted to an input terminal(200) and generates output voltage(Vout). The high voltage generating part controls current to a first route or a second route according to the turn on state of a first transistor(M1). The high voltage generating part comprises an inductor(L), a diode(D), a capacitor(C), resistance(R1,R2), a gate driver(140), an oscillator(120), and a comparison part(130). A current controller(170) comprises a current drive circuit positioned at each LED assembly channel. A load detection part(150) generates subtraction data including the brightness information of an LED assembly.
