The charging device (1) has a shaft (6) that is mounted in bearing housing (12) over a rolling bearing device (7). A cartridge (11) is arranged between the bearing housing and shaft and is provided with an outer-side cartridge groove (15). The bearing housing is provided with an inner-side housing groove (16). The cartridge is lubricated with radial clearance (13) arranged in the bearing housing. A lubricant-transmissive damping element (14) is arranged between the outer-side cartridge and inner-side housing grooves.
