PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector assembly for connecting a wire to a device of a gas-turbine engine.SOLUTION: A method of fabricating a connector assembly for connecting a wire to a device of a gas-turbine engine is provided. The method includes the steps of providing a wire having a termination, and providing a first shell having a first proximal end, a first distal end, and a first passage extending from the first proximal end to the first distal end. The method further includes the step of coupling the first shell to the wire in such a manner that the wire extends into the first passage through the first proximal end to make the first shell be displaceable with respect to the termination along the wire. |
