<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nuclear thermal-hydraulic stability monitoring technique for a reactor for improving monitoring accuracy and reliability. <P>SOLUTION: A monitoring device 50 includes: a calculation part 52 which calculates a stability index (an illustration is a decrease width ratio γ) of a nuclear thermal-hydraulic phenomenon from a nuclear instrumentation signal S output by a plurality of nuclear instrumentation detectors 31 regularly arranged in a core 16; a simulation part 70 which uses information related to an operational state of a reactor as an input condition 75 and simulates the nuclear thermal-hydraulic phenomenon on the basis of a physical model; a limit value update part 58 which updates a limit value D of nuclear thermal-hydraulic phenomenon from a simulation result; and a determination part 53 which determines whether or not output vibration suppression means 60 is started on the basis of the stability index(the illustration is the decrease width ratio γ) and the limit value D. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
