In the lock-up clutch control device, a base oil pressure-calculating means (M3) calculates a base oil pressure (Pb) for engaging the lock-up clutch (23) based on the input torque from the engine (E). A correction factor-calculating means (M4) calculates a correction factor (alpha), which is greater than 0 and less than 1, based on the input rotation speed (Ni) of the transmission (T) and the state of engine (E) cylinder deactivation. A command oil pressure-calculating means (M5) calculates a command oil pressure (Pc) from the base oil pressure (Pb) and the correction factor (alpha) using current command oil pressure (Pc) value <- previous command oil pressure (Pc) value + (base oil pressure (Pb)-previous command oil pressure (Pc) value) × alphaand repeats same for a prescribed number of times to cause the command oil pressure (Pc) to converge on the base oil pressure (Pb). As a result, engagement of the lock-up clutch (23) with an excessively large base oil pressure (Pb) can be prevented and noise generation limited even if the base oil pressure (Pb) is calculated to be high during depression of the accelerator pedal.
|
