PURPOSE: A dielectric ceramics for microwave communication components and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to increase the dielectric constant and quality factor of a dielectric ceramics by mixing CaTiO3 and Al2O3 at a proper rate and performing a sintering operation at an optimal temperature. CONSTITUTION: A dielectric ceramics for microwave communication components are based on x mol% of CaTiO3 and y mol% of Al2O3: x is in the range 80-90; y is in the range of 10-20; and x+y is 100. The dielectric constant of the dielectric ceramics is between 100 and 200, inclusively. The quality factor (Q x F) of the dielectric ceramics is between 183,200 and 221,000 GHz, inclusively. A method for manufacturing a dielectric ceramics for microwave communication components comprises the steps of: preparing a mixture by mixing x mol% of CaTiO3 and y mol% of Al2O3; stirring the mixture in acetone as a dispersing solvent; drying the stirred product; adding a PVC binder into the dried product; pressurizing the product in a mold; and sintering the pre-molded product after the pressurization at the temperature of 1300-1500°C for 2 hours.
