PURPOSE: A hair dryer is provided to be able to selectively extend or contract the length of a body part of the hair dryer by mounting a displacement part movable in a sliding mode or rotatable in a folding-jointed mode in the rear of the body part, which has a heater, a driver and a blower inside, and to improve preservation and portability of the hair dryer. CONSTITUTION: A hair dryer(10) is characterized in varying the air inflow amount into a body part by installing a displacement part which selectively extends or contracts the area of blowing space where outside air flows in, in the rear of the body part. A heater(110), a driver(120) and a blower(130) are installed within the body part. The displacement part is mounted to be able to do slide movement in rear of the body part to vary the area of the blowing space positioned in rear of the body part. The displacement part is hinged to be able to be folded on the outer periphery in rear of the body part and connected to the body part in a straight line by selective rotation to vary the area of the blowing space positioned in rear of the body part. The body part comprises a main body(140) which forms a first space inside and grooves on one side of the inner periphery of the first space; and a sub body which forms a second space connected to the first space of the main body and protrusions combined to the grooves in the outer periphery to be connected to the main body in a straight line. |
