PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition for a mask is provided to give sensible differentiation through color change while effectively stabilizing an effective active component, and to visually show a term of validity of cosmetics. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition for a mask comprises a capsule including a water-soluble active material core and a shall that surrounds the core and includes an oxygen-sensitive indicator and a pellicle material, a reducing sugar, and water. As to a mask pack including a sheet of paper immersed in a mask pack composition, the mask pack composition is the cosmetic composition for a mask. A manufacturing method of the mask pack comprises the following steps of: S1) preparing a capsule having a core-shall structure in which a water-soluble active component is surrounded by an oxygen-sensitive indicator and a pellicle material; S2) mixing the prepared capsule and a reducing sugar in water to prepare a mask pack composition; and S3) immersing a sheet of paper for a mask cut into a desired design into the mask pack composition.
