PURPOSE: An adaptive interfere avoiding apparatus and method in a channel hopping-based wireless ad-hoc network are provided to classify an unavailable channel on the basis of the measurement of node channel quality. CONSTITUTION: A channel quality measurement unit(110) measures channel quality with a received frame. A channel information storage unit(120) stores the measured channel quality information. Based on the channel quality information, an unavailable channel classification unit(130) classifies an unavailable channel through which communication is not performed later. An unavailable channel propagation unit(140) transfers a unavailable channel list to a neighbor node. A transceiver(150) transmits and receives a frame through a channel which is not classified as the unavailable channel. |
