PURPOSE: An automatic hook device for a ship is provided to enable a lifeboat to be stably separated from a davit on which the lifeboat is installed. CONSTITUTION: An automatic hook device for a ship comprises a main body (100), a hooking hook (200), a lever (300), a hook fixing unit (400), and an elastic member (500). The main body comprises a connection pin (110) which is connectedly installed on a davit. The holding hook is rotatably combined with a main body by using a pin, and has the upper end on which a lever guide groove (230) is formed and the lower end on which a life boat is held. The lever has one end which is rotatably connected through a pin to the main body, and formed in the length direction on a moving guide (310). The hook fixing unit is installed on a moving guide of the lever to be slid; has one end which is settled on the lever guide groove; and moves along on the lever guide groove by rotating the lever. The elastic member is installed inside the moving guide to elastically support the hook fixing unit, enables the hook fixing unit to selectively move the holding hook to be rotated, and releases the held state of the lifeboat.
