A fluorine gas generation apparatus (100) provided with: an electrolyte bath (1) for generating a main gas having fluorine gas as the main component on a positive electrode side and for generating a subsidiary gas having hydrogen gas as the main component on a negative electrode side, by electrolysing hydrogen fluoride in an electrolyte bath comprising a molten salt containing hydrogen fluoride; a hydrogen fluoride supply source (40) which stores hydrogen fluoride for replenishing the electrolyte tank (1); a hydrogen fluoride supply path (41) for replenishing the electrolyte bath (1) with hydrogen fluoride from the hydrogen fluoride supply source (40); and a vaporizer (60), provided in the hydrogen fluoride supply path (41), for vaporizing hydrogen fluoride supplied from the hydrogen fluoride supply source (40).
