PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding member excellent in friction characteristics and abrasion resistance in sliding using a molybdenum-containing organic lubricant.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a sliding member for sliding, the sliding surface of which includes a diamond-like carbon film (DLC film) containing at least one metal of Pt and Rh and which uses a molybdenum-containing organic lubricant. The DLC film contains at least one metal of Pt and Rh, thereby preventing the DLC film from deteriorating due to a component derived from an organic molybdenum compound. |
