COMBUSITION ADDITIVE COMPOSITION COMPRISING BORATE ION OF LIQUID CRYSTAL PHASE, AND METHOD OF PREPARING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A composition for a combustion additive and a method for preparing the same are provided to standardize the temperature of combustion using fuel by delaying the initial combustion of fuel in order to induce the low temperature combustion of the fuel and combusting non-combusted fuel at a temperature which is lower than the initial combustion temperature. CONSTITUTION: A composition for a combustion additive contains borate ions in a liquid state. A method for preparing a composition for a combustion additive includes the steps of; mixing alkaline metal-based borate hydrate, alkaline metal-based hydroxide, and water; ionizing and liquid-crystallizing the alkaline metal-based borate hydrate at the temperature of 96-100°C and under a condition of pH 13±0.8.
