PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothing drying machine allowing smooth driving of lint discharge means, preventing an excessive load on a drive motor and having improved safety.SOLUTION: A clothing drying machine includes: an introduction part 21a which introduces drying air; filter parts 21b and 21c having a substantially semi-cylindrical shape, disposed so as to be substantially perpendicular to a flowing direction of the drying air from an introduction part 21a; a driving gear 26 which is rotated by a drive motor 24 provided on a body; a driven gear 22b which is connected to the driving gear 26 and rotated by the rotation of the driving gear 26; and a spiral lint collector 22a which is connected to the driven gear 22b and rotated in contact with the inner surfaces of the filter parts 21b and 21c. When a point A is a point where a rotation direction on a circumferential circle of the lint collector 22a is the same as the flowing direction of the drying air and a point B is a point where the rotation direction is opposite to the flowing direction when viewed from a shaft direction, the rotation direction of the lint collector 22a is determined so that a flow rate at the point A is greater than that at the point B. |
