PURPOSE: A battery pack and a connecting bar applied thereto is provided to secure stability due to a rupture of a connecting bar electrically connecting battery modules when excess current flows. CONSTITUTION: A battery pack includes one unit cell, a case, battery modules (10a, 10b), and a connecting bar (20). The connecting bar connects the first metal plate (21) and the second metal plate (22), and has a metal bridge (23) with the melting point lower than the metal plate. The connecting bar with an external terminal positioned in one side of the case also connects adjoining battery modules with each bus bar (200a, 200b). The bus bar connects the unit cell and the external terminal. The metal bridge is smokeless alloy with tin (Sn) and copper (Cu) as main components.
