摘要	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting magnet device with which demagnetization in an extremely short time in emergency is possible using a simple and compact structure.SOLUTION: A switch 13 is provided for an excitation circuit 11 of a superconducting coil 2, a diode 14 is connected to the excitation circuit 11 parallel to the superconducting coil 2 in a radiation shield 1 in a low temperature region, and the diode 14 and the superconducting coil 2 are connected to each other by a thermal conductor 16 under a state where they are electrically insulated from each other by an insulator 15. With this structure, in emergency, only by opening the switch 13, heat generated at the diode 14 by a current flowing to a closed circuit formed by the superconducting coil 2 and the diode 14 is caused to be transmitted to the superconducting coil 2 by the thermal conductor 16 and heat it. As a result, demagnetization in an extremely short time in emergency becomes possible using a simple and compact structure.
