PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acrylic film with a low thermal expansion coefficient in an MD direction and a TD direction which has little change in tint by temperature variations, when used in a liquid crystal display device, and a method for manufacturing the same, and further to provide a polarizing plate, an optical compensation film, an anti-reflection film and a liquid crystal display device using the acrylic film.SOLUTION: The acrylic film is characterized in that the thickness is 20-60 μm, that at least one kind of additive is contained, that the additive concentration distribution in the film surface is 0.01-3%, that the additive is at least one kind selected from the group consisting of stabilizers, plasticizers and ultraviolet absorbers, and that the weight reduction of the additive after heated for one hour at 240°C is 0-30%. Here, the additive concentration distribution in the film inner surface is shown in terms of percentage by measuring the amounts of the additive in a 10 cm×10 cm film by gas chromatography using a silicon column with nitrogen gas at 30 points and by dividing the concentration difference between the maximum additive concentration and the minimum additive concentration by the average concentration of all the measured additive concentrations. |
