摘要 <p>The device (20) has a mean pitch sensor (37) to measure current mean pitch of propellers of a hybrid helicopter in real time. An air speed sensor (31) measures true air speed of the helicopter, and a density sensor (35) measures density of air. A rotation speed sensor (32) measures rotation speed of the propellers. A computer element (40) determines a maximum mean pitch applicable to the propellers without exceeding power available for the propellers. A display unit (50) displays the maximum mean pitch on a visual display unit (60). The computer element determines the maximum mean pitch based on the current mean pitch, a maximum power delivered by an engine installation, a current power delivered by the engine installation, and a relationship determining a power gradient as a function of pitch of the propellers. An independent claim is also included for a piloting assistance method for a hybrid helicopter.</p>
