<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and low-cost-realizable LED illumination unit which is mounted and fixed without distinguishing right and left directions of lines, and an LED illumination device. <P>SOLUTION: One or a plurality of the LED illumination units 10 are mounted on the LED illumination device, and the LED illumination unit includes a substrate 11 for LED mounting, a plurality of LEDs 12 mounted on a top surface of the substrate, pattern wiring 13 forming an LED circuit by electrically connecting the plurality of LEDs on the substrate, and a first connector 14 mounted on a lower face side of the substrate at its central part in a length direction and electrically connected to the LED circuit. Since a plurality of connecting pins 141, 142, 143 on the first connector are so arranged that their mutual polarity relations of their respective driving voltages allotted are to be in point symmetry around the center in the length direction of the illumination unit, the illumination unit drives to light up the LED circuit regardless of right and left directions of the illumination unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
