PURPOSE: Lighting device and lighting function-embedded desk are provided to enable operation of appropriate illuminance through an image projection function. CONSTITUTION: Lighting devices (10,20,30,40,40a) include a lighting unit (100), an image projection unit (200) and a control unit. The lighting unit is configured to light to a lighting target surface. The image projection unit is prepared to project an image to the lighting target surface and is integrally formed to the lighting unit. The image projection unit is detachably formed to the lighting unit. A control unit (550) electrically controls the lighting unit and image projection unit. The control unit is configured to function the image projection unit as an auxiliary lighting unit besides lighting a light source of the image projection unit. The control unit calculates illuminance of the lighting target surface, judges a range of appropriate lighting and performs illuminance control based on the judged result. Brightness of the lighting unit is controlled by the control unit. The control unit further has a function obtaining image information from a network. |
