PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent grounding in a connection section, even if a relative moving amount to a vehicle body of a driving source is large at the time of front collision.SOLUTION: A power transmission device includes: a propeller shaft 12, which extends to a front-back direction of a vehicle body 11 and in which a front end is connected to a transfer output shaft 18 through a hook type joint 14a and a rear end is connected to an input shaft 22 of a differential mechanism 20 through the other hook type joint 14b; a center bearing support 26, which supports the propeller shaft 12 so as to be rotatable to the vehicle body 11; and a fall prevention belt 38a, which has a mounting section 36 mounted on the vehicle body and supports the propeller shaft 12 when the propeller shaft 12 falls; wherein a withstand load (F2), in the mounting section 36 of the fall prevention belt 38a, and a withstand load (F3) of the fall prevention belt 38a itself are set larger than a bending load (F1) of the propeller shaft 12 (F1<F2, F3). |
