PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneous transmission such as erroneously transmitting an electronic mail in preparation, by determining whether an electronic mail is in preparation.SOLUTION: An information processing device determines that an electronic mail is uncompleted (in preparation) when a character at the end of a sentence in the electronic mail text is a predetermined character, and suspends transmission of the electronic mail. Likewise for a subject of an electronic mail, the device determines that an electronic mail is in preparation by determining whether an end character in the subject is a predetermined character. The device performs control to inhibit a transmission button from being depressed when the electronic mail is in preparation, in order to prevent an uncompleted mail from being transmitted. |
