TRIM APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR HIGH STRENGTH PARTS

PURPOSE: A trim apparatus of a high strength part and a trim method thereof are provided to implement a relatively fast trimming work, to reduce cost, and to secure a sufficient durability of a trim cutter. CONSTITUTION: A trim apparatus of a high strength part includes a current supply unit (7) and a trim cutter (9). The current supply unit applies a current to a trim target part (5) which is loaded in between a die (1) and a punch (3). The trim target part is to be mounted on the trim cutter as the gap between the die and the punch becomes narrower. The die is equipped with a pad (15) which pressurizes the upper side of the trim target part.
