PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable calibration processing without imposing a special operation on a user in an operation input system that enables operation input more reliable than before without gazing at a display screen.SOLUTION: An operation input system comprises: a touch pad that detects a detection object in contact with or in proximity to an operation surface 11a to receive an input corresponding to the detection position; a protrusion member 20 that is provided to be protrudable from the operation surface 11a; a display device that displays an image on a display screen 41; and an association processing unit that associates a coordinate on the display screen 41 with a coordinate on the operation surface 11a. The association processing unit, when the detection object is detected on the operation surface 11a along with a depression operation for depressing the protrusion member 20 protruding from the operation surface 11a, executes calibration processing for the association so as to match the detection position A with the coordinate C on the operation surface 11a of the protrusion member 20 subjected to the depression operation. |
