PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of stably manufacturing a laminate film having a plurality of layers mainly composed of dissimilar polymer materials by a solution co-casting method.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the laminate film includes at least: co-casting two or more types of dopes on a cooled support to form a laminate casted film on the support; and peeling the laminate casted film with a residual solvent amount of 150% or more and 400% or less from the support. Of the two types of dopes, a dope B used for forming a layer B that is a support-side bottom layer contains cellulose ester as a major ingredient, and a dope A used for forming a layer A that is at least one layer except the layer B contains a polymer material low in SP value, compared with the cellulose ester, as a major ingredient.
