PROJECTOR AND KEYSTONE DISTORTION CORRECTION METHOD FOR PROJECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector and a keystone distortion correction method for a projector by which keystone distortion is inexpensively and automatically corrected. SOLUTION: The projector 1 includes: an adjusting leg section 6 configured to be capable of protruding/retracting and changing a tilt condition of the projector; an interlocking device 7 that displaces interlocked with the protruding/retracting movement of the adjusting leg section 6; a variable resistance device 8 that has a resistance value that varies based on displacement of the interlocking device 7; a voltage detection device 9 that detects a voltage varied based on the resistance value of the variable resistance device 8; a storage section 54 that stores keystone distortion correction amount information showing relation between the voltage detected by the voltage detection device 9 and a keystone distortion correction amount of a projection image; and a keystone distortion correction section 521 that obtains a keystone distortion correction amount from the keystone distortion correction amount information based on the voltage and that corrects the keystone distortion of the projection image. Since the keystone distortion correction amount is obtained by using the variable resistance device 8, keystone distortion correction processing is inexpensively and automatically performed.
