<p>[Problem] To make it possible to significantly inhibit breakage of the tip of a saw blade even when cutting continuous inner surface beads inside arc-welded steel tubes, electric resistance-welded steel tubes, or the like. [Solution] Provided is a tip saw (1) in which saw blades (3) are disposed protruding at prescribed intervals on the periphery of a discoid base metal (2), in which a tip (5) is fixed to each saw blade (3), and in which blade cavities (6) are formed between the adjacent saw blades (3). The tip saw (1) has an outer diameter (D) of at least 250mm. The width (W2) of inlet openings of the blade cavities (6) is in the range of 0.6-1.2% of the outer diameter. Both tip surfaces (5a) and tip-opposing surfaces (6a) in the blade cavities (6) are slanted, as necessary, towards the side opposite to the rotation direction of the tip saw (1).</p> |
