<p>This air conditioner comprises: an indoor heat exchanger that exchanges heat between a refrigerant and air; a blower that blows heat-exchanged air indoors; and a compressor that compresses the refrigerant and supplies same to the indoor heat exchanger. The air conditioner further comprises: a remote controller with which a user sets a charge time, which is the time at which the user plans to instruct the air conditioner to start a heating operation; and a compressor temperature detection unit that detects the temperature of the compressor. In a case where the charge time has been set, the air conditioner starts an open-phase operation of the compressor before the charge time, and stops the open-phase operation if the temperature detected by the compressor temperature detection unit does not rise during the open-phase operation. Thus, it is possible to shorten the length of time until warm air blows out at the start of the heating operation.</p> |
