APPARATUS FOR CORRECTING SHAPE ERROR IN FLEXIBLE ROLL FORMING

PURPOSE: Variable roll forming correction apparatus is provided to correct shape errors of gradually forming materials by variable forming rolls by including a correction unit which corrects errors by rolling and pressing, thereby minimizing shape errors. CONSTITUTION: Variable roll forming correction apparatus includes a frame and a correction roll unit. The frame is installed on a route where materials are formed by rolls. The correction roll unit which is installed at the frame corrects shape errors of the materials formed by variable forming rolls through rolling and pressing. The frame includes an upper bar (21) and a lower bar (22) which are arranged in a width direction at the upper and lower part of the route respectively. The correction roll unit includes upper correction rolls (41) and lower correction rolls (42) which press both sides of the proceeding materials.
