PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively improve a utilization rate of a public IP address in a CGN device.SOLUTION: In the method for allocating the public IP address, the CGN device receives a user on-line packet, determines whether or not an unused public IP address exists, when a public IP address pool does not have the unused public IP address, constructs a DHCP request packet, transmits it to a DHCP server, makes a request to acquire a public IP address set, and allocates a first public IP address in the public IP address set to a user. The device and the system which allocate the public IP address are further provided. In the CGN device, integrated management and assignment of the public IP addresses can be performed through the method, the device, and the system to be provided in the present invention. |
