PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To once retain printing before outputting printed matters and confirm a user to output the printed matters when the printed matters are transferred according to a user's print condition (emphasis on cost reduction, high speed, or the like) if the printed matters are output to an area or a floor where a user is absent.SOLUTION: The server device includes a printer information storage section for storing a setting state including installation location information of a printer. When a print job to be transmitted from a client device is transferred to a printer having installation location information different from the installation location information of the client device, the server device once retains the transfer of the print job and transmits to the client device, information of accepting an input on whether or not transferring the retained print job to the printer having the installation location information different from the installation location information of the client device. In response to the input to the transmission result, the server determines whether transferring the retained print job or stops the transfer thereof. |
