<p>Disclosed are a portable storage battery for an electric automobile and a method of use. The present invention uses a method of breaking up the whole into parts such that the voltage required to drive an electric automobile is broken down gradually and the required voltage is reached by means of several blocks of low voltage storage battery connected in series using a power supply line. The portable storage battery can be separated from the electric automobile, facilitating replacement by the vehicle owner. The casing of the storage battery is provided with a power supply plug and can be connected to an external charging apparatus by means of the power supply plug so as to be charged. The structure is simple, convenient and fast. Employing the method of use of this storage battery enables the portable storage battery to be quickly connected to or disconnected from a storage battery case, so conventional bulky rechargeable models can be transformed into lightweight rechargeable models, avoiding the anxiety produced by the vehicle owner needing to constantly seek a charging station and thus the vehicle owner is not delayed or the journey disrupted. In addition, a replaced portable storage battery is then placed into a charging cabinet and waits for periods of off-peak demand before charging, avoiding periods of peak electricity usage, and achieving the electricity usage effects of peak shaving and valley filling for the power grid.</p> |
