The present invention provides a method for preparing (metha)acrylic acid phenyl ester in a solid form, wherein the method comprises a step of reacting a (metha)acrylic acid anhydride with a phenol compound in a non-halogen carbohydrate-based solvent. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a method for preparing (metha)acrylic acid phenyl ester, which is not easy to handle, in a solid form at a high yield and with high purity, and it is also possible to simplify the process since it is unnecessary to perform an extra evaporation process after the reaction.
