PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric construction machine for enabling power feeding from a battery device mounted on the machine to the outside to rescue another machine.SOLUTION: The electric construction machine includes a battery device 7 mounted on the machine and having a plurality of lithium-ion batteries 59, an inverter device 26 having an internal battery driving control function to control the drive of an electric motor 25 with electric power from the battery device 7 and an internal battery charging control function to control the charge of the battery device 7 with electric power from an external power supply, and an external power feeding circuit 58 for supplying the electric power of the battery device 7 to another machine. When instructed to control external power feeding by an external power feeding switch 67, the inverter device 7 monitors the state of the battery device 7 while controlling the contact of a relay 55 of the external power feeding circuit 58 to become a closed state. It controls the contact of the relay 55 to become an opened state when the battery device 7 has a remaining amount of electricity smaller than a predetermined value or it is malfunctioned.
