PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging forming device which performs imposition processing without impairing readability.SOLUTION: The image forming device comprises: a font size setting part 101 for setting a minimum font size; an imposition processing part 202 for performing the imposition processing by reducing image data so that a plurality of pieces of the data are allocated to one printing medium; a font size detection part 201 for detecting the minimum font size included in the image data to be reduced when applied with the imposition processing; a font size determination part 203 for determining magnitudes of sizes by comparing the detected minimum font size and a set minimum font size; and an apparatus control part 204 for performing image formation in a state of being applied with the imposition processing when it is determined that the detected minimum font size is larger than the set font size, and performing control so that normal image formation may be performed without performing the imposition processing when it is determined that the detected minimum font size is smaller than the set font size. |
