PURPOSE: A device to clean pipes using a dry ice and a method to clean the same are provided to save costs for replacing and managing the pipe by spraying the dry ice using compressed air with high pressure and cleaning inner wall of the pipe, and increasing a period to replace the pipe. CONSTITUTION: A device to clean pipes comprises a high pressure compressed air spraying unit and a vacuum pump. The high pressure compressed air spraying unit can spray a dry ice inside the pipe using compressed air with high pressure. The vacuum pump makes the inner part of the pipe to be vacuum. The device to clean pipe includes the vacuum pump increasing passing speed of the dry ice which is put into the pipe and reducing a rate of sublimation in the inside.
