PURPOSE: A personal risk perception and alarm system using a smart device and a method thereof are provided to prevent missing children using a smart device and a tag by perceiving a dangerous situation on occurring, and promptly responding the dangerous situation. CONSTITUTION: A personal risk perception and alarm system using a smart device and a tag comprises at least one RFID tag (100) which is attached to a human body or clothes and a smart device (200) which includes a RFID reader which recognizes a RFID tag, a distance setup module which determines a limit distance between a RFID tag and a RFID reader, a distance recognition module which identifies whether the distance between a RFID tag and a RFID reader is within the limit distance set up by the distance setup module in real time, an alarm sound generation module which sounds an alarm if the distance recognition module identifies that the distance is beyond the limit, a camera driving module which operates a camera if the alarm sound module sounds an alarm, and a lighting module which turns on a SOS signal if an alarm rings.
