PURPOSE: A spindle motor is provided to improve combination perpendicularity between a shaft and a thrust plate, to maintain stable thrust dynamic pressure generation, and to improve the reliability of the operation and performance of the motor. CONSTITUTION: A spindle motor includes a first shaft (111) forming a protrusion (111a) and a second shaft (112) forming a combination groove (112a) corresponding to the protrusion. The spindle motor includes a shaft forming the rotation center, a sleeve rotatably supporting the shaft, and a thrust plate (40) inserted into a gap between the first and the second shafts and including a combination hole (40a). The protrusion and the combination groove are pressed into each other.
